A dynamic educational start-up is seeking an Industry Consultant to inspire school students aged 15-18 through engaging sessions and mentorship. You will share your expertise in various industries, guide students in career choices, and help them maximize their potential. The role is based in Central London and offers flexible hours, primarily during specific program dates. Ideal candidates are passionate about youth development and have excellent communication skills.
InvestIN Education is a dynamic start‑up providing inspirational career experience programmes for school students. Founded in 2012, our mission is to bridge the gap between school and the workplace, helping students choose the right career and maximise their potential.
We create the 'ultimate career experience' through interactive simulations, site visits, seminars, networking sessions and career coaching led by industry professionals. Our programmes span 15 industries, including architecture, art & design, dentistry, engineering, entrepreneurship, media, TV & filmmaking, forensic science, international politics, investment banking, law, medicine, psychology, computer science and veterinary medicine.
To date, we have engaged over 65,000 students from 100+ countries and 4,000+ schools, with 45% of participants joining from abroad.
Applications are rolling throughout the year. As an Industry Consultant, you will shape the future of young minds by sharing your expertise and passion with students aged 15‑18, guiding them through interactive sessions, lectures, and networking opportunities.
Dates: Programmes run in November and March (Sundays) and longer Summer programmes in July‑August (Mon‑Fri).
Hours: Event days run from 10 am – 6 pm; full days, half days, and single sessions available.
Location: Primarily Central London, with virtual opportunities for our Live Online programmes.
Pay: Varies per engagement; fee disclosed by the Programme Manager before each engagement.
Contract: Zero‑hour contract/ad‑hoc.
Offer contingent upon successful onboarding and completion of a DBS check. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK as self‑employed at the start of their first engagement.
