About the Role

You would be required to supervise students across all year groups in the teacher's absence.

A good level of education and a confident manner is essential.

Previous experience of working with young people and the ability to use Microsoft Office would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students in the absence of the usual subject teacher
  • Provide cover at short notice
  • Provide clear direction to students and be effective in classroom management
  • Use Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Take class registration on SIMS
  • Have excellent communication skills and liaise with both staff and students in a friendly manner
  • Work well as part of a team and able to take direction
  • Undertake all required training and follow school procedures
