A local volunteering organization is seeking volunteers for a disability-inclusive sports festival in Bristol. As a volunteer, you will help ensure the event runs smoothly and that all participants feel safe and supported. Pre-event training sessions are required. This is a great opportunity to engage with the community and gain valuable experience.
Festival location - Clifton College Sports Ground, Bristol, BS8 3EZ
Festival date - Saturday 22nd November
Volunteer festival support times - 11-4pm (approx)
Ignite Bristol showcases the variety of disability-inclusive sport and physical activity available in Bristol, by offering drop-in sport and activity sessions and information stalls hosted by local clubs and services. Our volunteers ensure the smooth running of the event and make sure participants feel safe and supported throughout. There are a number of different volunteer roles available and we will aim to match you with a role suited to your interests and what you are looking to get out of your volunteering experience. Volunteers will be expected to attend pre-event training and briefings if first Ignite festival.
If you have volunteered at this event in the past you do not need to attend Disability Inclusion Training/ Pre Event Briefing (Although we recommend coming to the event briefing). Volunteer information packs will be sent to all volunteers ahead of the festival.
