Job summary

A dynamic cybersecurity firm in Gloucester is seeking a Cyber Security Operations Manager to ensure all IT systems are secured and compliant with relevant standards. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, and the ability to guide new system developments. This role offers competitive salary, requiring office presence three days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a similar Cyber Security role.
• Knowledge of working with MOD and DOD is an advantage.
• Good understanding of system administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the continued certification of ISO27001, CMMC, Cyber Essentials.
• Responsible for the delivery of the company cyber security strategy.
• Implement and maintain the company response plan in the event of a security breach.

Skills

Working knowledge of ITAR

Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions

Good understanding of networking ports and protocols

Tools

Advanced certifications such as SANS GIAC/CGIA/GCIH
