Housekeepers x 2 bank

Hours: 18 hours / week (part time)

Salary: £25,694 - £27,900 (pro-rata) (£13.14 ph – £14.27 ph)

Holiday: 35 per annum (including public holidays) (pro rata)

Shift pattern: Mornings - 07.30am-2pm | Afternoons – 1.30pm-7.30pm

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Housekeeper

Reporting to the Housekeeping Team Supervisor, you can expect your working day to include the following:

  • Responsible for providing a clean, safe and hygienic environment throughout all areas of the Hospice
  • Bag laundry, write up, label and deliver to laundry collection point outside on a daily basis
  • Working flexibly within a team to cover the department needs and demands
  • Co-operate with and maintain good relationships with other disciplines that are attending and treating clients to maximise patient care
  • Responsible for ensuring meeting rooms are set up correctly and any refreshments are served and set up/cleared away on time (this may include weddings)
