Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Hospitality Host to be part of the team in MearnsHouse Care Home. Conveniently located in Newton Mearns, Mearns House is an industry-leading care home, built and designed in 2016 to exceed national care standards and provide the highest levels of comfort, happiness and security for residents. We provide luxury living for older people in a homely environment. We cater for a wide range of care needs including high quality, personalised nursing and dementia care and have installed some of the latest technology to create an environment that is as safe and comfortable as possible.

You are responsible for meeting and greeting people, providing them with a warm friendly professional customer service that involves you:

• being proactive in providing refreshments to residents and visitors in the café areas and dining rooms.
• making sure the café is stocked with food, drinks, cakes etc and is a welcoming and stimulating environment to all.
• maintaining the cleanliness of the café to the highest of Meallmore standards
• working alongside the care team ensuring residents have great experiences.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure the home is always looking its best.

You will have:

• experience of working within a front of house hospitality environment such as waitering and barista as examples.
• excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate kindness, compassion and empathy.
• the ability to demonstrate knowledge of what excellent customer service looks like.

Pay Rate: £12.27 per hour+ overtime rates and benefits.
