Richmond Village Northampton offers a unique opportunity for a Registered Care Home Manager to join the team who have been rated OUTSTANDING by CQC. The Care Home Manager is responsible for leading their team to provide person centred care for our residents within the 30‑bed care home, offering nursing specialist dementia care.

It’s important that our teams have outstanding leaders – inspirational managers that empower and motivate their team to meet the needs of all our residents. We’re looking for a Care Home Manager to work alongside our senior management team to lead our people in providing the highest quality of care to our residents.

Responsibilities

You’ll be clinically responsible for the ongoing care of residents within the care home - you’ll lead our teams, guiding and supporting them to ensure that safe and effective care is always provided. Ensuring all units comply with CQC standards of care, you’ll take appropriate action to maintain a safe environment for residents. Responsible for ensuring staff levels are appropriate, you’ll lead on all aspects of clinical governance and work with senior professionals to develop systems, processes and practices to strengthen clinical practise and resident care. As well as developing the strategy and direction for the village you’ll also create and develop strong relationships with LAs, CQC and Primary Care Trust commissioners, always acting as a trusted healthcare partner.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Management qualification such as the Registered Manager’s Award (or willingness to obtain).
  • Leadership experience in a care setting with comprehensive elderly care knowledge.
  • Approachable, confident, and able to empower a team to deliver highest standards of care.
  • Passionate about caring for others and putting residents at the heart of everything.
  • Ability to lead by example and share clinical knowledge on quality improvement.
  • Open and honest culture cultivation within the team.
  • DBS check (Bupa will cover cost £40).
