Overview

As a Home Delivery Driver, you’ll be the special ingredient that delivers everything our online customers shopped for at Sainsbury’s.

What you’ll be doing
  • Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps, on-time and in good condition
  • Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before driving
  • Safely driving in a variety of locations and conditions
  • Serving customers brilliantly, assisting with questions and substitutions, and keeping them informed of delays
  • Building knowledge about products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
  • When not delivering, assisting across the store as needed
Eligibility
  • You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
  • You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview, and if successful, there will be a driving assessment when you join
  • You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
