Neways at Home is a family-run home care and live-in care service based in Weymouth. We are supported by an experienced team of professionals who runs care homes(e.g. Chestnuts Care Home, Weymouth) and other home care locations in the UK. Our mission is to provide outstanding care to elderly people and empowerthem to live independently in their own homes.We are a growing company looking to develop more services in Weymouth and Dorchester areas.

Role summary:

We seek dedicated and passionate carers to support our clients in their homes and enhance their daily lives.There are numerous opportunities for career advancement to senior roles or other departments based on experience and interests.

Key responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals at clients' homes
  • Encourage timely eating and hydration
  • Assist with personal care, including washing and dressing
  • Prompt and support medication administration
  • Provide companionship through activities such as outings or walks
  • Perform light domestic duties and maintain cleanliness
  • Uphold high care standards and be up-to-date with training and development
  • Record all daily activities in our care delivery application
  • Reporting all issues or concerns to the care coordination team
Key requirements:
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Passion for providing excellent care

  • Reliability, punctuality, and integrity
  • Some care experience is desirable; full training will be provided
  • Fixed weekly contracts
  • Weekend pay premium of £1 per hour
  • Bank holiday pay at 1.5 times the regular rate
  • Overtime pay of £1 extra per hour / £2 per hour extra for last min calls.
