Due to continuedexpansion, we are seeking a HGV Workshop Technician to join our Selby team.

Key Tasks -

  • Perform day to day vehicle/trailer repairs and inspections in the workshop and also at other sites
  • Undertake the maintenance of equipment and ancillary equipment to manufacturers and company standards and procedures.
  • Ensure that all relevant administration and documentation are to the correct standard. (Service sheets, Job cards , parts) working with the admin team
  • Liaising with the drivers and traffic department to ensure all the vehicle Servicing , defects and issues are dealt with straight away.
  • A solid understanding of electrical systems , fleet management systems and DVS compliance
  • To be flexible in approach to the role as a whole.
  • Assist in the improvement & development of the workshop operation.
  • Work and communicate well as part of a small team with all departments

What we're looking for -

  • Fully Qualified LGV workshop Technician who has the desirable skills to progress within our company
  • Knowledge of IT , fleet management and Diagnostic Systems.
  • Welding and Fabrication Skills.
  • Flexible approach to a job as a whole.
  • HGV license
  • Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.00pm/ 8.00am to 6.00pm alternative shifts
  • Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
  • Good rate of pay depending on experience.
  • Ongoing training for career development.
