Qualifications

• Experience as an HGV mechanic is desirable.
• Knowledge of refuse collection vehicles is a distinct advantage.
• Experience in using diagnostic equipment.
• Category C driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out mandatory planned servicing and preventative maintenance on all owned fleet vehicles.
• Identifying and rectifying faults on the fleet.
• Prioritising workloads and communicating effectively with operational supervisors.
• Attending roadside breakdowns and completing repairs.
• Collaborating effectively with third-party contractors.
