Overview

Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services in London, ON is seeking dedicated and experienced heavy equipment operators for the Winter Season. We operate a modern fleet of snow removal equipment and provide landscaping and property management services year-round.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, loaders and backhoes to lift and plow snow.
• Practice safety in every move, estimate weights and distances, minimize hazards, and report injuries or damage.
• Start each workday with an inspection of tires, controls, fuel and fluids to ensure reliable operation, and test operation of machines periodically.
• Fix minor issues during the shift and maintain activity logs.

Qualifications

• Proven snow removal experience as a machine operator; competency demonstrated at interview.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (constant use of protective gear).
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
• Valid G license; 4x4 and salt truck operators must provide a Drivers Abstract at the time of interview.
• Equipment experience includes Cat loader/backhoe (Box pusher) and 4x4 plow operators; indicate experience when applying.
• On-call for the Winter Season and ability to respond quickly.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour.
