Job description

We are recruiting HCAs and Support Workers to work in a variety of settings, including:

  • Care homes
  • Residential services
  • Supported living
  • Learning disability and complex needs services
  • Mental health services
Key Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant
  • Provide person-centred care in care homes and residential settings
  • Assist with washing, dressing, toileting, mobility & meal support
  • Help with medication prompts/administration (as trained)
  • Promote dignity, respect, independence and wellbeing
  • Record and report changes in health and behaviour
  • Work alongside healthcare professionals and families
As a Support Worker
  • Support adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex care
  • Encourage independence, life skills and engagement in meaningful activities
  • Provide emotional support and enable community participation
  • Use positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques where required
  • Follow care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
  • Complete accurate notes and communicate effectively with the team

Essential details
Experience Required
