Health Care Assistant – Sponsored
Sponsored role for UK residents, providing home care services in Hexham, Corbridge, Riding Mill and nearby areas. The position offers competitive pay (£12.60‑£13.00 per hour) along with training, benefits and career development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Help clients with everyday living tasks such as dressing, grooming and bathing.
- Assist clients with transfers and mobility.
- Track and report any changes in the physical or mental health of service users.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help feed and transport meals to clients when required.
- Keep thorough and current records of care plans and client progress.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high‑quality care for clients.
Requirements
- At least six months of prior experience in a similar home‑care position.
- Ready to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Vehicle availability; a UK driver’s licence is recommended.
- Kind, sympathetic, and patient disposition.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and participate in training.
- Comfortable working under pressure and performing well in stressful situations.
- Eligibility: Only candidates who currently reside in the UK are eligible for sponsorship.
