Job Title: Health and Social Care Teacher (Temporary / Part‑Time)

Location: Ofsted‑rated Good Further Education College in Oxfordshire

Pay: £22.50 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay (PAYE)

Hours: Part‑Time – Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 09:00–17:00; Friday 09:00–12:00

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Temporary ongoing

Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Health and Social Care Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons to BTEC Level 3 Year 1 students. The focus will be on policies, procedures, and developing students’ understanding of professional practice within the care sector.

Remote interviews will be held via phone or Teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality lessons in Health and Social Care (L3, Year 1)
• Provide support and guidance to learners throughout the programme
• Focus on both theory and applied practice, particularly around policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to curriculum planning

Ideal Candidate

• Holds a relevant teaching qualification
• Has a strong health and social care background
• Experienced in delivering post‑16 education or vocational programmes
