The Opportunity

Ready-Mix concrete is one of Holcim UK’s core business lines and a critical enabler of the country’s infrastructure, housing and commercial development. As a widely used construction material in the world, Ready-Mix plays a central role in everything from local builds to nationally significant projects.

We are now seeking a Head of Commercial for Ready‑Mix to lead the commercial strategy across the North. This is a senior, national role with full accountability for shaping growth, strengthening customer partnerships and positioning Holcim as the market leader in Ready‑Mix solutions.

What you will be doing
  • Shape the future of Ready‑Mix at scale, owning and delivering the commercial strategy that drives growth, strengthens margins and accelerates Holcim UK’s sustainability ambitions.

  • Turn market insight into competitive advantage, using a deep understanding of customers, sectors and industry trends to unlock new opportunities and differentiate Holcim in a highly competitive mark.

  • Build and lead a best in class commercial leadership team, creating a culture where accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement are the norm and where people are empowered to perform at their best.

  • Set the standard for commercial excellence, embedding strong governance, pricing discipline and customer performance management to deliver consistent, high quality outcomes nationwide.

  • Work at the heart of transformation, collaborating with operations, digital and sustainability teams to scale low carbon solutions, adopt smarter ways of working and drive innovation across the business.
