HEAD OF BOARDING

Required for September 2026

Permanent role with up to 0.5FTE of subject teaching

Accommodation provided is a 3 bedroom house linked to a boarding house

An opportunity has arisen for the post of Head of Boarding to take overall responsibility for all aspects of boarding life across the school. The post holder will report to the Deputy Head Pastoral.

Responsibilities include the management of Housemistresses/masters in relation to day to day running of boarding houses and the management of the Medical Centre.

This role would suit a qualified teacher currently in the role of Housemistress or Housemaster and / or with some experience of managing a boarding house.

Queenswood is GSA, BSA Boarding and Day School for approximately 430 girls aged 11-18, set in beautiful Hertfordshire countryside close to London. Teaching at Queenswood you will have motivated students, an idyllic setting and plenty of opportunity for initiative and career progression.
