The first Hotel du Vin opened in 1994 in the ancient city of Winchester. Built in 1715, the building is brimming with Queen Anne‑style architecture. A city steeped in history, with a landmark cathedral, wonderful architecture, historic museums, cobbled streets lined with independent shops and boutiques, theatres, literary events and arts festivals. All on the doorstep of the stunning landscape of the South Downs.
