Job description

We are looking for a Guest Relations and Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Linton Collection. We are luxury self-catering apartments based in the Old Town of Edinburgh.

This is an onsite, full time position working 5 out of 7 days and weekend work will be required as necessary. We are a small team so a flexible approach is essential and a personable candidate is required.

Previous experience in hotel or apartments industry is required.

JOB SPECIFICATION
  • Manage bookings and guest information
  • Managing guest expectations – onsite guest support
  • Organising/creating add-ons and packages – upselling
  • Managing guest complaints onsite
  • PMS system knowledge
  • Communicate and coordinate guest requests
Maintenance
  • Basic overview – simple maintenance repairs over holiday cover
  • Basic H&S knowledge
  • Knowledge of general apartment workings – troubleshooting and basic knowledge of how to fix.
  • Developing and implementing marketing campaigns
  • Manage and update websites and social media platforms
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns and promotional materials
  • Support brand consistency across all marketing communications
  • Track and report marketing performance metrics (social media, website traffic, campaign results)
  • Photo/videography skills for shoots, video content, and promotional events
  • Image/video editing skills for social media and/or promotional material
  • Advertising knowledge
  • Support public relations efforts, including press releases and local partnerships
  • On-call flexibility - phone cover 3 out of 7 mornings.
  • Evening and weekend work as required
  • Holiday cover as required
  • Working hours will be 10am - 6pm
SKILLS
