Responsibilities

• Supervise and support group fitness instructors for safe sessions.
• Assist in coordination and administration of fitness programs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Prepare equipment and maintain activity areas.
• Engage with customers and respond to their inquiries.
• Promote Active Luton activities and programs.
• Monitor safety and intervene when necessary.

Skills

Experience working in a leisure environment and supporting group fitness or activity sessions

Experience in a customer-focused role

Ability to communicate politely and effectively with a wide range of people

Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records

Basic IT skills, including email and word processing

Some knowledge of Health & Safety in group fitness

Level 2 coaching/teaching qualification

Ability to safely handle and move activity equipment
