The Role

Bedfordiacontracting in Bedfordshire is seeking a reliable and hardworking Grain Store & Dryer Operator to join the team for the upcoming harvest season, starting on 6th July and running through to the end of Harvest in late August/early September. Located in Bedfordshire, the 2,000-hectare Bedfordia arable unit grows combinable and environmental crops.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• As a Grain Store & Dryer Operator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of the harvest. Working closely with our experienced harvest team, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting with the operation of the 22,600mt grain storage facility
• Assisting with operating the 100+tph grain dryer
• Local grain carting if required
• General harvest duties

Candidate Requirements:

• Tractor driving experience preferred.
• Minimum 18 years old
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Have the right to work in the UK.
