Job description

At IVC Evidensia, you’ll find a place where you can be yourself, supported by people who want to see you thrive. You’ll get hands‑on experience, build your confidence, and discover just how far your passion can take you.

Unlock Your Passions at Rosehill Veterinary Clinic:

Rosehill Veterinary Clinic is a friendly and supportive small animal practice located in the vibrant city of Plymouth. Situated on Devon’s beautiful south coast between the River Plym and the River Tamar, Plymouth offers an exceptional quality of life, with Dartmoor National Park and stunning beaches both within easy reach—giving you moorland and sea right on your doorstep. Despite its location in the southwest of England, Plymouth benefits from excellent transport links, with convenient access to the A38 and Plymouth train station just a short walk from the practice. The station provides direct rail services to London Paddington, Birmingham and Manchester, with onward connections to Scotland, as well as regular trains to towns across Devon and Cornwall.

We are proud to have a compassionate and highly experienced team comprising 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, and a fantastic Reception team who play a vital role in supporting both our clients and clinical staff. Our newly refurbished, modern practice offers generously sized veterinary consultation rooms filled with natural daylight, creating a comfortable environment for both patients and team members. The clinic is well equipped with a full iM3 dental suite, digital x‑ray and processor, a separate x‑ray room with ultrasound, in‑house laboratory blood analysers, and a dedicated theatre with a large preparation area featuring two tables. In addition, our reception area has separate, allocated spaces for dogs and cats, helping to ensure a calm and stress‑reduced experience for all visitors.

Enjoy a welcoming environment with structured support and flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

The role is full‑time, working 40 hours per week, with excellent support in place. You will be allocated a dedicated VetGDP Adviser and Mentor, providing structured guidance throughout your development. Regular clinical discussions are held within the team, and you will be fully supported on both the surgical and consultation rotas, ensuring a balanced and confidence‑building workload.
