And we are now seeking applicants for the November 2026 cohort of our Early Careers Graduate Scheme. Uniquely, we recruit to role – and right now we’re looking for a Graduate Transport Modeller to join our Transport Modelling Team in London.

As a Graduate Transport Modeller within our Transport Modelling team, you’ll contribute to the delivery of a wide variety of projects within a thriving transport business sector for several key clients. You will take ownership and responsibility for the quality of work you produce, ensuring that it is delivered in line with the agreed timescales. You will understand and comply with our Company Integrated Management System and all relevant health and safety legislation. You will bring a keen interest in transport and the urban environment to help shape the future of transportation, creating greener, cleaner, and more equitable systems that address the challenges of the 21st century. Our activities range from strategic multi-modal modelling, data analytics, and microsimulation modelling to support transport appraisal and business case development through feasibility study to implementation.

We’d like to hear from graduates that share our ethos and values and are driven to truly transform the world around them.

What does the role involve?
  • You will utilise analytical and problem-solving skills to find quick, innovative, and practical solutions to complex transportation issues.
  • You will work closely with experienced consultants, providing day-to-day technical input as part of a team of experts.
  • Delivery of data analysis and visualisation using automation and scripting.
  • Build skills in using bespoke transport modelling software which you will learn to master through the graduate scheme.
  • Producing clear, well-reasoned, and persuasive reports that effectively interpret data and other evidence, ensuring findings are communicated to stakeholders.
  • Ensure output is completed in accordance with the scope of works, timescales and budgets.
  • Work in close collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines as required to deliver project requirements and added value to the client.
  • Support in engaging with key clients in remote and face-to-face meetings.
  • Embark on the Transport Planning Society's Professional Development Scheme, supporting progression towards becoming a Chartered Transport Planning Professional.
Who are we looking for?

Our unique, personalised programme is designed for passionate, forward-thinking graduates who want to change the world around them, thrive in a dynamic team environment, and are hungry to collaborate with mentors and leaders across the business.

What do you need to apply?

We want to hear from you if you…

  • Have a degree relevant to the role you’re applying for.
  • Have less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements).
  • Are confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Are driven, proactive, and solution-oriented.
  • Can work in the UK without restrictions either now or in the future.
What’s in it for you?

Our Graduate Scheme offers a two-year blended learning experience, with a tailored programme delivered virtually and face-to-face. You’ll have the chance to network and grow with the 2026 cohort. Personal growth will be supported by our Early Careers team, mentors and subject matter experts from across the business. Structured masterclasses focus on fundamental skills, internal insight, and functional expertise, helping fast-track your development as you pursue professional accreditation. The programme builds your confidence early in your career and gives you a platform for genuine impact within Sweco.

You’ll receive a permanent position with an industry-standard salary and benefits package, including 25 days holiday, a great pension and life assurance.
