You will focus on geotechnical aspects across various projects, collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams while developing your skills in ground engineering. You will help us deliver effective and professional services for a range of high-profile clients. While you will have responsibility from day one, you will have the chance to take on more as you progress and broaden your skills and experience.
You will work within a multi-disciplinary office supported by other ground engineering professionals. There will be opportunities to develop a strong base in ground engineering, problem solve and develop designs, or specialise in areas such as numerical modelling, seismic, risk and resilience, or sustainability. You will focus on geotechnical aspects at all stages of the project lifecycle: desk studies, ground investigation, analysis & design, carbon management, construction supervision & monitoring, and asset management.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate in multi-disciplinary project teams, working with experts in other Arup disciplines. You may be asked to work in other offices or regions. Our structure supports workload sharing, international assignments, and building your network.
Graduate Geotechnical Engineering roles are available in Birmingham, Nottingham, London, Leeds, Sheffield, Cardiff, Southampton, Bristol, Belfast and Newcastle.
You should be able to start this opportunity in September 2026.
