Role description

We have a new opportunity for a Graduate Geo-environmental Engineer to be based in Cardiff and join our national geo-environmental and ground investigation team. The national team provides ground investigation, geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy services for a broad range of private and public sector clients. In this graduate role you will work on exciting, ground-breaking projects from day one, with support to grow in your chosen discipline and training to develop core professional skills. Responsibilities
  • Supervision of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations, largely in South Wales and the South West, with some sites across the UK.
  • Work within the national geo-environmental team and collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects.
Qualifications/Skills
  • Minimum 2:1 degree in geology, engineering geology, environmental science or related subject.
  • Enthusiasm and determination to learn and progress within contaminated land, site investigation, brownfield redevelopment and geotechnical engineering.
  • Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to create, manage and analyse information.
  • Commitment to studying towards professional qualification.
  • Strong analytical, written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Relevant work experience (e.g., work placement) is preferable.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Full Driving Licence and ideally access to a vehicle.
  • Suitability for security clearance.
