Salary: Grade 3 - £24,796 pro rata

Job Overview

Join an energetic, friendly, and hard-working team fully committed to supporting pupils' wellbeing, progress, and development. This role involves providing 1:1 support to a pupil with Medical ALN needs. Key responsibilities include supporting the pupil’s individual needs, communicating through Welsh, and working 10 hours per week on a fixed-term basis starting January, with an expected transition to full-time from January 2027.

Working Pattern

  • Afternoons on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday for the first two terms
  • Transitioning to mornings in the third term
  • Role expected to increase to full-time from January 2027

Salary and Hours

Grade 3 – £24,796 for 45.8 weeks per annum (10 hours per week) equating to £5,886.73 pro rata, rising to 46.8 weeks (£6,015.26 pro rata per annum) after 5 years of service.

Qualifications

  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) for this post.
  • Ability to communicate through Welsh is essential.
  • Right to work in the UK; Pembrokeshire County Council does not accept applicants requiring a Skilled Worker visa.
