A healthcare practice in Scotland is seeking a dedicated Locum GP for a 12-month position covering for a Salaried GP on maternity leave. The ideal candidate will provide clinical care to a patient population of around 7700. The practice offers a supportive environment with a focus on patient-centered care. Responsibilities include house visits and occasional on-call duties. Interested candidates should send their CV and cover letter to the Practice Manager. Onsite parking is available.
An opportunity has arisen within our practice for a 2 session Locum GP to join our supportive, friendly, ambitious practice with a strong patient centered ethos. We have a low staff turnover, low locum requirements and are proud of our good local reputation. One of our Salaried GPs will soon be off on maternity leave, so we are keen to engage a 2-session long term locum GP (preferred day Tuesday) for 12 months to provide cover.
We currently phone 10 patients per session and see those needing face-to-face appointments but we have a flexible template. The afternoon duty doctor is usually allocated to do house visits with a shorter morning surgery to accommodate this. The role will involve normal clinical duties (occasional on call and home visits, acute and repeat prescribing and the possibility of Registrar tutorials). We are a Vision and Docman practice.
The Wood Medical Practice is a long-established Medical Practice which delivers General Medical Services to a patient population of approximately 7700 patients in Broxburn and its surrounding areas. We are situated in the modern purpose built Strathbrock Partnership Centre alongside two other GP practices and multiple other services which support our practice population.
