Job summary

A multinational healthcare company is seeking a Sr. Specialist for Global Inventory & Compliance. The role involves overseeing compliance processes, managing inventory accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP, and supporting ad-hoc analytics. Candidates must have a relevant degree and strong proficiency in SAP and Excel. This position also requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing environment or Finance.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCMP certification is an advantage.
  • Internal Auditing and Compliance experience is an advantage.

Organon is looking for a Sr. Specialist **Global Inventory & Compliance** is a member of the Global Finance Team. The role will be in charge for the oversight of Global Inventory & Compliance processes which performs end to end activities from actual inventory compliance management in **global supply chain** and ocurrence of a financial result (accounting) till consolidation level.* Inventory Compliance Management* Execute the SOX Compliance controls of IQV and Inventory Reconciliation in Global Supply Chain Network providing an analytical and supportive role for global supply chain and finance teams to ensure compliance.* Responsible for performing accounting activities for IQV, from and in line with US GAAP and according to our internal reporting design from End-to-End perspective. Ensure IQV inventory reserves are created and maintained, both routine and ad hoc* Maintaining and reconciling inventory account balances related to IQV processes between the General Ledger and SAP to ensure alignment.* Monitor discards and provide support to the main Distribution Centers on discard processes and collaborate with End-to-end planners , Manufacturing Sites, Demand Fulfillment and Logistics.* Provide support to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at risk mitigation in planning or reporting on risk inventory* Execute the transactional processes in SAP ad hoc to support the inventory movements through trade plants* Support requests for ad-hoc analytics to support senior management decision making and maintain (SAC / Power BI) dashboards.* Support coordination of Inventory related SOX Audit preparations in SCM and ExM and drive the business to a state of Permanent Inspection Readiness.* Act as contact point for SOX Compliance operational questions for supply chain and local finance personnel.* Ensuring that appropriate and adequate internal controls are in place in accordance with corporate procedures – including liaising with internal- and external audit teams. Acting as a first point of contact for external and internal auditors in relation to IQV, Discards, and Inventory Reconciliations .* Maintaining and reporting performance metrics and perform ad-hoc consolidation analysis to support business decisions* Ensure the business is provided training to grow the necessary knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as behaviors needed within the OMS organization in regards to inventory compliance.* Will represent inventory (management) compliance on larger, more complex projects such as SAP roll-outs or global process design.* Back-up of line manager and other senior specialists or specialists as needed.* BSc or MSc Degree in a related business concentration ( Supply Chain ,Accounting, Finance or similar fields) required* Minimum 3-5 year of relevant experience in Supply Chain , Manufacturing environment or Finance* Proficient knowledge of SAP and MS Office experience (with Advanced Excel skills)* APICS CPIM or CSCMP certification is an advantage* SAC Dashboards and Power BI Experience is an advantage* Internal Auditing and Compliance experience is an advantage* Lean Six Sigma certification, preferable advance certification* Strong English communication skills, both written and verbally* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, whilst delivering high-quality work.* Intercultural experience and enjoys working in a multi-cultural organization.* Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership and interpersonal skills required along with demonstrated experience working with global and cross-functional teams as well as senior stakeholders* Ability to think End-to-End when analyzing problems and resolving conflicts* Willingness to be flexible and to work in a rapidly changing environment* To articulate complex thoughts and ideas accurately and clearly, being able to quickly detect and correct instances of miscommunication* To influence and design structures and processes in compliance team set up for optimal performance and efficiency* To act as a subject matter expert and resource to others on inventory compliance* Identifies opportunities and drives system and process improvements for process bottlenecks within Inventory compliance activities. This to maintain, harmonize, and ensure global standardization of processes.
