Full Time 30 Hours Per Week – Including Weekends

As one of our Team Leaders, your role will include providing great customer service, along with supporting the Manager and mentoring our retail customer advisors, ensuring all our customers receive a positive experience once they set foot in the department.

You will be working across the Centre being involved with planning and building all our seasonal changes.

You will have a positive “can do” attitude and be a skilled Supervisor driving the team through great standards and exemplary customer service

Responsible for the efficient operation of a quality service operation through supervisory and administrative work in the till department. Must be fully flexible with weekend working. Will include early and late working shifts.

Skills required:
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Supervisory or team-leading experience, ideally in a leisure, retail, or seasonal environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative without constant supervision
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work well under pressure, particularly in peak seasonal periods
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills
  • High levels of professionalism and reliability
  • Good knowledge of plants (or willingness to develop this knowledge)
  • Strong communication skills, both with colleagues and management
  • Ability to motivate and support others to achieve team and business objectives
  • Awareness of Health & Safety and food safety requirements (where applicable)
  • Willingness to take on key holder responsibilities, including opening and closing
  • Flexibility to support the business with reasonable additional duties when required
Duties will include:
  • Maintain high standards across the plant area (presentation, care, availability).
  • Always deliver excellent customer service and set the standard for the team.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of colleagues, including seasonal staff.
  • Organise team rotas/schedules and manage day-to-day staffing issues.
  • Evaluate team performance, giving coaching, training, and guidance where required.
  • Support and manage department-specific initiatives, ensuring tasks are completed:
  • Step in to cover absences and assist other teams to ensure smooth operation.
  • Ensure all colleagues follow company policies and procedures.
  • Enforce and uphold Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
  • Maintain a high and consistent standard of customer service across the department.
  • Ensure full business compliance with:
  • Health & Safety legislation
  • Food safety laws (where applicable)
  • Support and complete operational audits relating to compliance.
  • Act as a key holder, assisting with:
  • Opening the centre
  • Closing the centre
  • Ensure all departmental health & safety checks and controls are completed correctly.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties within capability, as requested by management.
