Job description
Fundraising Team Leader – Volunteer

Cats Protection

Fundraising is fundamental to supporting cats and kittens in need and our Fundraising Team Leaders are integral to this. If you have leadership and interpersonal skills and a desire to support cats, then this could be the perfect role for you!

What difference will you make? Raising money is essential for funding the care of cats and kittens in need:

  • £2 can fund 5 days of specialist milk for a kitten who needs to be hand‑reared.
  • £30 can cover the cost of de‑worming 10 cats in our care.
  • £40 can cover the cost of a specially designed bed to provide comfort for the most frightened of cats.
  • £50 can cover the cost of neutering a cat in our care.

Each event helps tens, if not hundreds, of cats… we can’t do this without you!

What are we looking for?
  • Leadership skills – experience leading a team of staff or volunteers.
  • Organisational skills – experience in event or project planning.
  • Interpersonal skills – PR and stakeholder communication.
  • Time management – proven experience managing priorities when multiple events are planned.
What will you be doing?

  • Encourage and promote a professional image of Cats Protection.
  • Follow policies and guidelines and ensure licences and permits are obtained for events.
