Job Description

Join Carr Gomm as an Overnight Responder in Lochgilphead. With a starting salary of £25,224 and enhanced pay for night shifts, you will provide immediate, person‑centred support to people in urgent situations, helping them stay safe and independent at home.

About Us

Carr Gomm is a leading social care and community development charity. Our Responder service responds to Telecare alarms for falls and other emergencies, offering check‑ins later in the day or night to give people peace of mind.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct dynamic risk assessments and evaluate needs through effective communication.
  • Work independently to prevent hospital admissions and provide timely assistance.
  • Support patients at night alongside another practitioner; lone work during daytime.
  • Collaborate with close‑knit team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Use ELK Lifting Cushion and other equipment safely.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
  • Full UK driving licence and valid driving record.
  • Calm under pressure and compassionate communication.
  • Driving essential; no prior professional care experience required.
  • Induction training will be provided.
