A family in need of childcare assistance is seeking a dedicated individual to support a mother recovering from a traumatic brain injury while caring for her 4-year-old daughter. The role involves assisting with school drop-offs and pick-ups, meal preparation, and general household organization. Ideal candidates must possess an enhanced DBS check, paediatric first aid qualifications, and experience with special educational needs (SEN). A valid driver's license and own car are essential. The position offers part-time hours during term time with potential weekend shifts.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30-10:30 and then 3-6. ( 30 hours a week )
term time only
Possible weekend shifts to support with pre- planned community activities
The mother has suffered a traumatic brain injury following a road accident.
Mainly assisting the mother with her 4 year old girl. However some sole charge may be required.
Assist mother with getting 4 year old girl up and ready for the school day and to bed after activities and dinner.
School pickup and drop off ( confident driver is essential )
Return to the home and support mum with activities to prepare for the day – such as tidying, meal prep, school admin, organization tasks, essential shopping.
Support mum with childcare activities after school.
All candidates must have enhanced DBS & Paediatric first aid, As well as SEN experience . A drivers license ( with their own car )
