Job description

We're searching for an experienced freelance, UK-based 3D Artist to help us on an exciting project!

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Art Director to create stunning semi-realistic to realistic 3D including environments and props. You will be responsible for working from concept art to final, polished 3D models.

We are looking for someone capable of working across multiple genres, including fantasy, sci-fi, and more in a semi-realistic to realistic art style.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models for environments and props
• Help to create 3D assets that follow concept art designs, while adhering to the original vision and proportions of said design.
• Follow 3D best practices
• Integrate assets and textures made into Unreal Engine
• Optimizing game-ready assets for Unreal Engine

Requirements

• UK-based only at this time for this freelance job
• No formal training required, but an amazing 3D portfolio is a must
• Strong skills in texture creation and UV mapping
• Experience creating and optimizing assets for Unreal Engine
• Has experience with modular kits
• Experience with working in Unreal Engine 5 including Nanite
• 4+ years of experience working in the Video Game industry.
• Worked on at least one AAA video game.
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English.
