Overview

The role focuses on P&L management reporting and analysis for the EMEA region and onward management reporting to Global Beverage and Corporate.

The position acts as critical support to the FP&A Director on all aspects of operating earnings performance analysis and serves as an important link between Finance and all other business areas, providing value-added management information and advice to facilitate improved performance. It involves significant financial oversight and stewardship around the Integrated Business Planning cycle, which is central to the business’ performance. The role also forecasts and maintains the planning and budgeting cycles on the earnings side.

Responsibilities
  • Full oversight of the financial planning cycle for the EMEA region, including ownership of the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and Quarterly Financial Forecast processes on the earnings side.
  • Coordinate with Treasury & Cash Controller on Balance Sheet and Metal/ODM side financial planning & analysis.
  • Consolidation, analysis and interpretation of operating earnings performance using key management reporting tools (Essbase, SAP reporting).
  • Support the Financial Strategy, Planning & Analysis Director with Global management reporting pre-month end (POV) and month end; liaise with FP&A controllers, operations finance and controllership, and Head Office personnel in Supply Chain, Ops, IBP, procurement and Commercial department.
  • Oversee centralised FP&A controlling function and their business partnering activities.
  • Support the MEA Controller with standardisation of reporting from non-principal entities.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Profitability Manager to ensure in-year financials are accurately reflected through profitability views.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in Regional Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycles, providing financial stewardship around the planning and execution of short-term operational plans, including presentation of P&L financial output.
  • Oversee EMEA Entity Level SOX controls.
  • Support the wider finance team in delivering various reporting requirements and work with the Sector Financial Accounting team to deliver month-end close.
  • Provide support to Global FP&A on initiatives impacting the P&L and ad-hoc assistance to the wider business on investment decisions that affect the P&L.
  • Manage four direct reports and a total team of eleven.
Qualifications
  • CIMA/ACA qualified + 7 years
  • Proven track record in leading a diverse team of high-skilled, qualified finance professionals
  • Management accounting experience in a large-scale, multi-currency, multi-territory manufacturing entity environment
  • Proven track record in various FP&A and Business Partnering roles at regional level
  • Broad experience across financial disciplines including FP&A and Accounting
  • Proven experience in explaining financial figures to stakeholders from a non-finance background
  • Strong planning and analysis skills
  • Strong communications and presentation skills
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
