Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Food Service Assistant to join our team working at Aldergrove Flying Station, Antrim, BT29 4BP.

You will be working front-of-house, operating the tills, and providing excellent customer service to our customers. There will also be basic food preparation, preparing sandwiches and other grab and go foods.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have a legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks. Ideally you should have been a UK resident for the past 3 years but we can implement residency waivers.

A day in the life of a Food Service Assistant:
  • General front of house duties such as operating the till and cash handling, keeping financial records, providing excellent customer service, and serving customers.
  • Making hot and cold drinks and serving food on the food counters, ensuring you are always adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Preparing grab and go foods, such as sandwiches, wraps and paninis.
  • Cleaning both back- and front-of-house, ensuring the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service
You will be set up for success if you have:
  • A legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks. Ideally you should have been a UK resident for the past 3 years but we can implement residency waivers.
  • The ability to pass full security vetting and Access NI checks.
  • Experience in a similar role in a busy kitchen
