Job summary

A reputable gas service company is seeking an Emergency Gas Responder to maintain safety in customer homes across various locations. This role involves independent problem-solving and requires excellent customer service skills. Ideally, candidates will have an ACS qualification and a valid driving licence, but training is available for those without full qualifications. Base salary: £43.4k per annum (increase to £44.1k upon successful completion of probationary period)

Working independently, problem solving, travelling in my own SGN van, and speaking with our customers.

You will need…
  • A friendly and approachable attitude with excellent customer service skills, as you will be dealing with members of the public
  • A current ACS qualification, CCN1 or CESPI, and ideally MET1 to 4 (although this is not essential to apply for the role)
  • A full and valid driving licence is essential
  • You will be working on a rota, meaning out of hours and weekend working is standard.
