A leading company in Fire & Security systems is seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on territory sales in North West England. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the fire and security industry and will be responsible for developing new business and managing existing client relationships. This role offers a competitive salary between £45K and £49K, with uncapped commission potential exceeding £61K overall.

Business Development Manager – Fire and Security Systems

Location: Warrington, England, United Kingdom

As a Territory Sales Manager within Fire & Security, you will survey, design, and quote fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intruder systems, etc., to existing and new B2B customers. Your assigned territory is the North West of England; you must be able to commute to the office in Warrington and possess a full driving licence (company car provided).

Key responsibilities include:

  • New business development by chasing & creating leads and following through to close.
  • Develop and cultivate existing and new customer relationships within your territory, in line with your individual sales plan.
  • Maintain CRM records to manage results and support pipeline forecasting.
  • Conduct effective research of prospects to identify opportunities.
  • Manage existing clients and ability to upsell to maximise profitability.
  • Respond to enquiries and develop strategies to win orders.
  • Conduct site surveys and create system designs.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and proposals.
  • Present solutions to clients via phone, virtual meetings & face‑to‑face.
  • Work towards challenging but achievable territory sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven territory or area sales experience within the Fire & Security industry.
  • Experience with fire alarm systems, intruder systems, CCTV & access control.
  • Ideally knowledge of fire door & emergency lighting.
  • Full driving licence (company car provided).

Benefits:

  • Base salary £45‑49K (d.o.e).
  • Uncapped commission package, with potential total earnings north of £61K minimum overall.
