A reputable financial services firm in East Kilbride is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee reporting and forecasting processes. This is an on-site role with ample opportunities for growth, particularly into a Financial Controller position. Candidates should have management reporting experience and strong IT skills. A qualified accountant is preferred, with a positive attitude and adaptability crucial for success. Office closes at 5 PM.
Our client, a multi-award winning, market leader supplies a range of quality branded products and services to its predominantly Scottish, but UK-wide client base. A genuine employer of choice, this well established, profitable and now significantly growing £8m+ turnover business has a reputation for exceptional customer service and loyalty. The effective management of growth necessitates the strengthening of the existing finance team. As such the business seeks to recruit a Finance Manager who, critically, has the potential to quickly (a matter of months) step up into the Financial Controller role after an initial transitional period.
We’re looking for an individual with a management reporting background ideally acquired within a sizeable organisation, and with a sound understanding of business controls. The business became part of a UK plc in 2024 and is looking for this candidate to play a key role in implementing the group financial reporting requirements, so strong IT skills/savvy are required.
A fully qualified accountant (ACMA/ACCA/CA) is ideally sought, although we will consider an exceptional qualified by experience individual. Regardless, the successful candidate's career path should be on an upward trajectory.
Importantly, the right candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, energy, initiative and the ability to gain an understanding of the operational side of the business in order to prepare meaningful forecasting and analysis.
A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment is critical - it wouldn’t work otherwise; someone who will buy into the values and vision of this outstanding company, a company which treats its customers, employees and suppliers with genuine respect.
An excellent platform for you to utilise your skill set, fulfil your potential and make a real difference.
On-site role. Office doors shut at 5pm.
