Finance Assistant - Horse Racing Ireland, Various | Full-Time / Permanent

Overall Purpose of the Role

Finance Administrator role to support the Location Accountant / Finance Business Partner in supporting the on-site Team, in understanding their financial performance, assist in driving performance and monitor and control change initiatives.

Finance Assistant - The Role
  • Completion of spend per head data and analysis against other venues
  • Assist in P&L reporting
  • Analysis of Financial Performance – completion of Client Analysis Document
  • Updating and collection of most recent data for Forecasting
  • Assist in the issue of shopping baskets for Op’s Team and working closely with the on-site team to analyse weekly performances
  • Completion of client billing and detailed analysis around "Other Income" Sales
  • Receive, review, and verify invoices and payment requests.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
  • Enter invoices into accounting or ERP systems.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant laws.
