The Team

The Finance and Strategy team's core mission is to help Deliveroo make more informed decisions. The Role

You will be responsible for the planning and reporting on the financial performance for Deliveroo Hop. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building and setting up the financial capabilities for a new and pioneering business unit and who can closely work with a wide range of stakeholders from site operators to senior management. You will work in London, with at least 3 days a week to be worked from the office. This role is based in London, UK, with at least 3 days a week to be worked from the office.

What you'll do
  • Business Partnering with a variety of stakeholders
  • Playing a critical role in the Annual Planning/budgeting process for a strategic business function within Deliveroo
  • Tracking against the annual plan identifying any risk and opportunities to the plan
  • Supporting the various stakeholders within the function by working with them through the development of and tracking of new initiatives (e.g. new business cases)
  • Management of P&L reporting and commentary into weekly / monthly business reviews
  • Understanding and influencing the underlying performance drivers to help drive the top and bottom line
  • Providing proactive, insightful, high quality analysis and thought leadership to support decision making in the context of wider business implications
  • Translating actions and initiatives into targets and long-range plans for the business
Requirements
  • Clear confident communicator, with experience influencing senior stakeholders
  • Experience in an analytical, strategic or commercial role
  • Advanced GSheet/Excel skills
  • Can demonstrate strong analytical achievements and confidence with numbers
  • Team player able to work with tact, humility and patience
  • A pragmatic, commercial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strong motivation with the ability to work quickly and accurately in tight deadlines
