Female Clinical Support Worker
Pay rate: £13.26 - £15.91 per hour
Shift Pattern: Days, Nights and Sleep-Ins (8am-8pm & 8pm-8am)
We’re offering a truly rewarding opportunity for the right person to support a remarkable individual living with their family in Stoke-on-Trent.This individual has complex clinical needs—including PEG feeding, oral suctioning, quadriplegia, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy—but there’s so much more to their story.They love music, enjoy pampering sessions, and thrive on trips out into the community, especially visiting local shops.To help make these experiences possible, we’re looking for someone local to Stoke-on-Trent who knows the area well. A full UK driving licence is essential, as driving plays a key role in supporting active days out.
Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person’s life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:
In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 2:1 basis, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs.Your responsibilities will include engaging with them in meaningful activities and taking them out in the community to promote their social interaction and well-being.Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment that fosters comfort and independence.Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.
