Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Façade Estimator. The Façade Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for façade projects by analysing project requirements, specifications, and drawings. Key tasks include identifying material and labour costs, obtaining quotes, liaising with clients and stakeholders, preparing tender documentation, and assisting with budget management. The role requires effective collaboration with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate estimations in line with project timelines. The ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and managing budgets for construction or façade projects.
• Knowledge of construction and façade systems, including cladding, fire safety works, and EWI systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Proficient in relevant estimation software, tools, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, suppliers, and project teams effectively.
• Keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the construction sector is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Building Safety Act 2022 requirements and BSR compliance is beneficial.
• Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, quantity surveying, or a related field are preferred.
