Job description

The role includes, but is not limited to:

1. Undertaking surveys;
2. Accurate sampling, often through precise use of specialist equipment;
3. Compiling and interpreting data;

7. Providing clear and accurate information and advice.

Successful candidates should possess:

1. The ability to write technical reports that are clear, concise, factual, and easy to read;
2. Experience of site investigations;
3. A relevant qualification in Environmental Science;
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to gain the confidence and cooperation of the workforce;
5. An analytical approach to work and a high level of attention to detail;
6. Problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines;
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet objectives;
8. Technical and IT skills for using specialist equipment;
9. An interest in law and regulations.

This is a full-time position based at the head office in Ammanford, with willingness to work throughout the UK. Flexible working options are available, including flexitime.
