What we are looking for

We’re looking for a strong, delivery-focused Engineering Manager with a sharp product mindset and the ability to guide engineers in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with excellent people leadership, ensuring both high-quality engineering output and strong collaboration with product managers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, setting clear expectations and supporting their growth
  • Build strong relationships with direct reports and manage their performance effectively
  • Collaborate closely with the team’s PM to align engineering priorities with product goals
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality features in line with company OKRs
  • Uphold engineering standards and best practices across the codebase
  • Remain hands-on where needed, contributing to the product codebase
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and team collaboration
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence

  • Product and delivery mindset

Interview Process

At Flawless, our interview process is designed to help you show your best self. We’ll discuss past projects and simulate working together. The process includes three rounds with some casual Zoom (or in-person) coffee in between to get to know each other:

  • Recruiting Screen: 30-45 minute call with our recruiting team
  • Hiring Manager Screen: 45 minutes with our Director of Product Engineering
  • Skills Interview: 45-60 minutes focusing on engineering management and project management experience
  • Final Interview: 3 hours onsite with a System Design and coding interview plus a behavioral interview

Your Recruiter and hiring manager will be your main contacts and prepare you for interviews. You’ll meet 6-8 people from across the business. If we don’t give an offer, we’ll provide feedback.
