Overview

R3 Repairs is a busy and growing property repairs and maintenance company working in Edinburgh, Lothian, and the Borders for almost 15 years. We are wholly owned by East Lothian Housing Association and carry out work in social housing, private homes and for other businesses – offering a wide variety of tasks and a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in vacant homes and on day‑to‑day maintenance for tenanted properties.
• Fit new kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and doors as required.
• Respond to emergencies outside of normal hours as part of an out‑of‑hour standby service.
• Handle domestic and commercial electrical installations and day‑to‑day repair work.
• Provide accurate inspection and testing reports compliant with BS7671.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Approved electrician, qualified to the 18th Edition.
• Valid ECS card.
• BS7671 Inspection and Testing competence.
• Full driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a trades team.

Benefits & Pay

• Hourly pay: £17.10 – £21.10 (Electrician) or £20.34 – £26.39 (Advanced Electrician) depending on experience.
• O‑target earnings: £33,345 – £41,145 (Electrician) or £39,663 – £51,460.50 (Advanced Electrician) per year.

Reporting and Growth
