Job description

Role: Electrical & Hydraulic Fitter

Location: Worksop, S80 3AT

Hours: 40 hours per week | between 06:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday

Hourly Rate: Up to £17.24 ph (DOE)

Are you a hands‑on engineer with a passion for electrical and hydraulic systems? We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑focused Electrical & Hydraulic Fitter to join our Manufacturing team in Worksop!

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings
  • Carry out electrical and hydraulic fitting and electro‑mechanical assembly
  • Take ownership of your own quality and workmanship
  • Promote good housekeeping and follow all health and safety procedures
  • Support team members and assist with planning and continuous improvement
  • Be flexible and willing to move between departments as needed
  • Maintain punctuality, discipline, and a positive, “can‑do” attitude
Ideal Candidate
  • Training in fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Skilled in problem‑solving and working to takt times
  • Able to read and understand engineering build specifications
  • Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and flexible
  • Willing to learn new skills and support continuous improvement
  • Auto‑electrical qualifications and CANbus knowledge are desirable
  • Available for overtime during the week and occasional Fridays/weekends
