Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) – CBRE

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. This role is based in Coalville, Daventry, Manchester, Kegworth, and Peterborough.

Key Tasks

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building plant, equipment and systems.
  • Ensure routine maintenance of all electrical/mechanical systems meets and exceeds service level agreements.
  • Carry out reactive repairs on all systems, calling relevant sub‑contractors as required.
  • Report all PPM defects via the KPMG defect process and liaise with the supervisor.
  • Maintain weekly equipment reports and site logs.
  • Sign off completed PPM and reactive tasks via PDA in line with KPMG policies.
  • Provide a professional image of CBRE, promote excellent customer service, and maintain safe & healthy working environment.
  • Work with other trade engineers to resolve electrical issues within SLA agreements.
  • Participate in call‑out rota and manage calls as required.

Person Specification

  • Good basic education, excellent written and spoken English, basic maths skills.
  • Recognised Electrical Qualification (C&G 17th Edition, C&G Test and Inspection).
  • Knowledge of building electrical systems, BS standards, emergency lighting, fire alarm, power, BMS.
  • Experience with structured PPM delivery, business‑critical equipment, health and safety led role.
  • Commitment to customer service, ability to work under pressure, reliable and a team player.
  • Ability to work on call‑out rota, shift work, weekend and out‑of‑hours as required.
  • Experience with electrical systems management and paperwork.

Senior Electrical Engineer – Leicestershire, East Midlands

£46,735 – £55,755 per annum, permanent, full‑time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers.

Electrical Design Engineer – Leicestershire

Core Responsibilities

  • Review design requirements and produce design calculations and documentation.
  • Approve drawings, bills of materials and other design information.
  • Participate in research, development, and product testing.
  • Select electrical components for control systems.
  • Generate 3D models, assemblies and issue manufacturing designs.
  • Carry out detailed mechanical design, verification testing, and root‑cause analysis.
  • Provide technical support to production, sales, service and customer support.
  • Adhere to quality systems (ISO 9001) and use Engineering Change Notifications.

Essential Skills
