Job summary

A leading energy firm seeks an experienced EHS Specialist for Battery Energy Storage Systems projects across the UK. This role focuses on ensuring health and safety compliance, particularly in low and high-voltage environments. Candidates should possess a NEBOSH Diploma and have experience in the energy or construction sectors, particularly with a focus on safety audits and risk assessments. The role requires travel to project sites approximately two days per week.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation, CDM regulations.
• Experience in energy or construction sectors, especially renewable energy.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety protocols in LV and HV environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain health and safety plans.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action planning.
• Deliver safety inductions and ongoing training.
