Job summary

A leading care provider in Southampton seeks a compassionate Support Worker to assist a young girl with disabilities. This role involves driving to school and therapy sessions, providing emotional support, and ensuring her safety and well-being during various activities. A good sense of humour and a proactive approach are essential. The position offers £17 per hour on weekdays and £18 for weekends, with support and training provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Essential experience with children/adults with disabilities.
• Driving duties required, own vehicle necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with patience and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Support client with mobility and daily activities.
• Drive client to therapy appointments and social activities.
• Provide a calming and supportive environment.
