This is an exciting opportunity to support a 52‑year‑old male in his own home and accompany him on a wide range of activities he enjoys. He has an acquired brain injury characterized by short‑term memory loss and poor awareness of danger, but he maintains a great sense of humour and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24‑hour, one‑to‑one support to keep the client safe at all times.
• Accompany him on recreational activities such as sailing, swimming, flying with an instructor, pool, golf, theatre, cinema, arts and crafts, and other events.
• Assist with certain domestic duties while he manages his own personal care.

Shift Structure

• Shifts are split into morning, afternoon/evening, and night-time periods and are fixed by contract.
• Five permanent shifts are available, negotiable, with ample opportunity for voluntary overtime.
• Positions are full‑time, but part‑time arrangements are possible for candidates seeking a varied schedule or a second job.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Valid manual driving licence.
• Proof of right to work in the UK (non‑UK citizens must provide documentation; sponsorship is not available).
